Reason for Daily Blog
Hi, This is my first Daily Blog. I have been making daily plans for the past three years, starting from Spring 2022. This daily plan really help me to organize my school work. However, when I try to make a conclusion for each day, I found using google doc is pretty hard which is different with my daily plan.
Daily plan serve a different purpose from daily blogs or conclusions. For example, daily plan need visually well-structured. But daily blog requires plenty of words. So inherently, these two format of writing can not put together.
Another reason for keeping a daily blog is to practice my English writing, which i need to improve
What Did i Do Today
I received an email reply from professor Honghao Wei from WSU. That's pretty fortunate! Thank you Professor Wei. And he gave me three paper,
I have little background knowledge about these three paper. So i ask ChatGPT to give a clearly explain the connection between these three paper. ChatGPT recommends me start reading from the last one: Optimistic Safety for Online Convex Optimization with Unknown Linear Constraints
However, I don't even know what Online Convex Optimization is. And what does the Online mean. What does the regret mean in this paper. I was fortunate to find Introduction to Online Convex Optimization.
I finished the first chapter today. But still not understand what is online convex optimization, or online optimization.
